A história do General do Exército Douglas MacArthur, comandante supremo dos aliados durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial e o comandante das Nações Unidas para da Guerra da Coréia. "MacArthur" começa em 1942, após a queda do Filipinas, e cobre a carreira notável desta lenda militar até e incluindo-se a Guerra da Coreia e os dias de MacArthur na aposentadoria forçada após ser demitido de seu cargo pelo Presidente Truman.
