No último dia de um verão dourado, Cristóvão não tem coragem de contar a Puff que vai deixar seus amigos para voltar à escola. Ele resolve escrever um bilhete, mas Puff e sua turma entendem tudo errado e acham que ele está perdido. Assim, Puff, Leitão, Abel e Tigrão embarcam na maior aventura de suas vidas em busca do garoto.
